As your host, I invite everyone who has anything 'cycling' to share on this platform. Although the warmer season is coming to an end, cycling doesn't have to cease. Be it fat tire rides in the snow, hours on your indoor trainer, planning next year's rides, finally doing that well needed maintenance on your trusty steed, or dreaming about that new shiny one like you saw out on the road this Summer (maybe in blue, with 32mm tires...sigh), or just Cycling

Yesterday, I shared an overview of how to exercise using your heart rate as a guide. We break training into "blocks" to maximize results. But not all exercise has to make you sweaty, or wear you out, or put you into uncomfortable places. Zone 1 is the "flow zone", where you're really just moving to free your mind. This is where you feel "in the zone" - you're not burning many calories, but you ARE feeling great.

Photography has come so far in the last 30 years. When I was young, you had the choice of 24 or 36 photo film rolls, loaded the camera up, (making sure never to open the back of the camera after that) You took your shots and never knew if they were good until they got back from the Walmart photo centre. Then you looked at them, showed the good 10 or so to family/friends, and put them in a box in the basement where they stayed until you looked at

It seemed Norm Abrams always had easy access to the best tools money could buy, but Roy did it all with an adze, a fro, and a peddle-driven lathe. Who was your fav, ... ?

So I am creating a decorative plaque for a friend, and wanting to use round head brass screws for it. So do you think I can find what I need?, ... not much of a supply of these in the Sault. I need #8 or #10 1.5", and no one has them. Not the Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Lyons, Soo Mill, or Princess Auto. Finally found two packets at the Home Hardware, ... Amazon was my next choice, but I like to buy local and not pay $3.50 a screw.
