3 years after we took in Ginger Puss, and once again said okay we've taken these kitties in, had a skink at the time, tool in two budgies ( we had been raising a baby blue Jay who had fallen and was injured, I'll tell his story another time) and done so much we insisted we COULD NOT take in more pets...then I went to visit my friend and decided to go to Circle K for something to drink....and came back to her house with a tiny 6 week old black

3 years after we took in Arwen and Mena ( a year before them we said no more then after them we said definitely no more! ) my friend said her friend found an abandoned litter of kittens on the island and asked if I could take one in. I saw the photos of them all, but one orange one stood out because she looked so pitiful and I felt she needed me, so I said I'd take her in and my late neighbour was present when I received the photos and offered

The snow is collapsing the pine trees up in the Red Pine system and will continue to push those trees down as it keeps accumulating. We managed to make our Fat Bike trail safely around this area. It will take a gargantuan effort to clean up this mess and I suspect the ski trail won’t open there this year.

Arwen ( long hair ) and her littermate Mena ( short hair ) are 7 year old sisters. An acquaintance said a friend had kittens born in their garage and asked Id be willing to take them. Despite at that time saying we weren't taking in any more pets, we couldn't refuse and one day two strangers brought some of the sweetest kittens I'd ever seen to my place . Obis younger but significantly larger brother ( same Bengal mom and maincoon daddy ) who is also 8 but 6 months younger Shadow Bear ♡ this boy guards me, follows me everywhere ( hence his name my daughter gave him ) and is a sort of peace keeper between the animals lol he is enormous but so patient and sweet and comforting !!

My oldest kitty, the not-so-photogenic Hestia! She is 11 years old and was discovered in a beer box taped and thrown into the dump and taken to TAAG where I was told about her and immediately went there to bring her home :) she is affectionate and gentle and very maternal and raised the future adoptees after having herself been raised by the late Abeni and Loki . We adore our little old lady!
