Just back from a few days in Toronto and had the chance to take in the Mirvish Production of The Lion King. I’ve seen a few shows over the years (Phantom, Miss Saigon, etc) but this was by far the best live show. Cast, set design all a 10/10! Here’s a shot from inside the Princess of Wales Theatre. If you have ever lived in a storey and a half house you know of the small areas that are created on the second level. My current house has two such areas. When I moved in they just had a curtin in the opening. Not very appealing. I went ahead and build two 24"x48" doors in the same style as the rest of the house. Cost of the doors came in around $50 a door and a fews hours of work. The room now feels finished.

I find comfort in numbers and spreadsheets. But I follow a watercolour artist on TikTok that has convinced me to paint with my heart. Unfortunately, our office doggos have become trapped in my attempts at watercolour… this doggos momma is in this group - so I’m not sure if they will recognize them or not…. Went rogue trying to give some texture - and almost scrapped it. I’m putting my brushes down on this one.
