What's for dinner

A little bit of a late post, but tonight I cooked a Cuban dish called Picadillo! It was one of the most delicious and easiest dishes I've ever made. If you're someone who likes beef in tacos/on nachos, this dish is definitely for you! 🌮

Here's the ingredients in order for anyone interested:

Mix together in a pot:

1. 2 tbsp oil
2. 1 small red/white onion diced
3. 1 tbsp garlic paste/6 cloves of grated garlic
4. 1/2 red bell & green pepper diced
5. 1 tbsp olives (I don't personally like olives, so I didn't include them).
6. 1 chicken bouillon cube
7. 2 tbsp sofrito
8. 2 lbs ground beef (before adding seasoning ensure this is half-cooked)

Seasoning to add in:

9. 1 tb adobo
10. 1 tb black pepper
11. 1 tb onion powder
12. 1 tsp oregano
13. 1 tsp cumin
14. 2 tbsp soy sauce
15. 2 tbsp tomato paste

Last steps:
16. 3 cups of potatoes, peeled and cubed
17. 2 cups of water (or more depending on pot size)

Let the potatoes cook in the pot for 20-25 minutes, and then it's ready to eat! 🍽 My boyfriend and I also enjoyed eating this with some nachos. 🌮
