Good morning music fans. Sorry for the long absence but had to get rid of a pesky virus. All is good so lets go and have a fantastic Saturday.
This week we lost Val Kilmer, who starred in Batman and Top Gun, and many other movies. By the way, the album is still in my collection. Rest in peace Ice Man.

New Releases this week:
Lady Gaga's song "Abracadabra," from her 2025 album Mayhem, is an anthem of resilience and self-discovery. Gaga described the song as a journey of facing life's challenges and finding magic in the process. The lyrics explore themes of inner doubt and perseverance, symbolized by the "lady in red," representing self-doubt and internal struggles. The music video features a dramatic dance battle between two sides of Gaga—light and dark—emphasizing resilience and community. The song blends theatrical dance-pop with empowering messages, reminiscent of Gaga's earlier works.

Bruce Springsteen announced this week the long-awaited sequel to his critically acclaimed 1998 Tracks box set, which will contain 83 songs, the vast majority of them previously unreleased. The set comprises what Springsteen says are seven "lost" albums.
Tracks II: The Lost Albums arrives in various CD and LP formats on June 27, with some editions including a 100-page hardcover book.

The Local Scene:

I have mentioned this in an early post that the Luxury Tragically Hip Tribute is coming to Soo Blaster next Sat. April 12. Opening act is The Rhythm Junction @ 7pm. Tickets available online or at the door and the proceeds go to Bring the Swing to install an accessible swing at Bellevue Park.

This Sunday Out and Out Country is back at Jay's Piston Broke Pub for an afternoon matinee from 2-6pm. Come early because the last time they played there the bar was packed.

Tonight at our casino Angry Joe and the Growlers take the stage from 8-11 pm.

Cameron Oliver and friends entertain you tonight at Reggies from 9:30pm to 1:30 pm. Don't miss out.

Here's to hoping that winter is on it's way out and warmer days are on the horizon. Can't wait to sit on a patio and enjoy a cold one and listen to some rockin tunes.

See you soon and remember to stay tuned, stay safe, and be kind.
