THE HOME OF THE 19 CENT HAMBURGER...... Sandy's Drive-in was a mainstay go to place in the early 1970s for many teenagers, in the evenings as they cruised Queen. The design of the building was ultra modern and the 19 cent hamburger was very affordable as the price would suggest. Manager Saultite Frank Plastino, a well known and experienced chef locally made sure the experience at Sandy's was next no other and the best it could be.
