A SURVIVOR - NOT A GARAGE QUEEN.....Kendra wanted a nice car to go for Sunday drives and husband Cody Newman didn't disappoint. Cody purchased a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in September 2024. It doesn't happen often but sometimes like the saying says "being at the right place at the right time pays off" Cody let it be known that he was in search for a Classic Car and after entertaining several interesting prospects, a co-worker of Cody's happened to mention that his neighbor was selling a Mustang. So Cody made arrangements to see the car and it didn't take long for Cody to decide to purchase it. The Mustang was a one owner car. The previous owner purchased it in 1969 from Highland Ford. The car is as Cody would say "It's a Survivor". IT's not a Garage Queen and that is perfectly fine with Cody. The previous owner made good use of it but also maintained it quite well. Cody's intention is to continue with what the original owner did and that is to keep it as a Survivor Car with minimal upgrades other than performing a few minor repairs which are expected for a 56 year old car. The paint is in great condition except for a few areas where there is some patina which is part of the reason why this car is so special. Watch a Video and go for a ride in a similar Mustang.
