The City of Sault Ste. Marie operated outdoor boarded skating rinks and ice pads – Anna McCrea, Merrifield, and Esposito rinks and Clergue Park Skating Trail will open today for the season. The outdoor ice surfaces will remain open, weather permitting. Please refer to on-site signage at all locations. Scheduling for the ice rinks are as follows:

Esposito Rink – 36 Queen Street West
Merrifield Rink – 331 Patrick Street
Anna McCrea Rink – 250 Mark Street
Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Clergue Park Skating Trail – 10 East Street
Monday to Friday from noon to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Downtown Plaza Skating – 526 Bay Street
Monday to Friday, noon from 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

As the largest outdoor rink, the Art Jennings Speed Skating Oval is currently undergoing preparations and is anticipated to open next week.

Monday to Friday from noon to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Note: Closed Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. for the Speedskating Club
